Links with Parents and
the Community

The school places great
stress on partnership with parents. Parents' Evenings are
held for a variety of purposes throughout the session and
formal reports are issued at regular intervals.
Newsletters to parents are issued monthly and the school features
weekly in the "Class Chat" column of the local
papers.
A School Handbook
and a set of Parental
Information Leaflets on school policies such as
discipline, attendance and uniform code are also issued
annually. |

The school works closely
with a supportive School Board and there is also an active
PTA. In addition, the school has established extensive and
profitable links with a wide range of local businesses
and with the local
non-denominational secondary, Kilwinning Academy.
